Heifer stands steadfast in its goal of helping another 10 million families by 2030. But success requires collective action. We are putting into action the United Nations Sustainable Development Goal No. 17, Partnerships for the Goals, and asking corporate partners, chefs and influencers in the food and culinary space to join in the fight to Take Hunger Off the Menu. In addition, we know we can really create impact if our food and beverage partners spread the word and involve their employees and customers. The United Nations recognizes that collaboration is critically important in order to meet any of the Sustainable Development Goals, and Zero Hunger is certainly no exception. Heifer International is honored to lead this initiative inspired by Partnership for the Goals.
Your Unique Role
Every company in the food and beverage space can play a unique and important role in helping us achieve our goal. We are seeking leaders among four key partner categories: chefs, producers, restaurants and retailers. We are seeking leaders among four key partner categories: chefs, producers/wholesalers, restaurants and retailers. Recognizing that business practices differ among each of the four key partner groups, we've developed menus for each partner group to give them food for thought on great ways to activate support. Levels of support range from smaller appetizer-sized portions to full main plate options. Plus, we have great ideas for desserts that represent especially sweet and generous ways to show support.
